Refund policy


Returns and Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 10 days. The item must be in its original condition with tags, unworn and in the same condition as received. Please send us an email to info@runtotheriver.com.au requesting a return.

Please note, the cost of return delivery is not covered by Run to the River and remains the responsibility of the buyer.

Please choose Sale items carefully as returns on these items will not be refunded and an in store credit will be issued on sale returns. FINAL SALE items are non returnable for credit, exchange or refund.


We offer an option to exchange any full priced item. Exchange is subject to availability. There is NO exchange, credit or refund on final sale items. 

We cannot refund/exchange an item if the tags or packaging has been removed.

  • We offer exchanges on eligible purchases if actioned within our 10 day return timeframe.
  • You will be responsible for shipping costs in the case of an exchange. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by you, the buyer. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore advise you take out a traceable shipping option. Run to the River will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings due to hygiene reasons.

Returns will be processed within 5 business days of receipt, with payment refunded to the original payment method.

Unfortunately we cannot refund the original or return shipping costs.

In store returns

If you wish to return or exchange an item you purchased from us in store.

  • We offer exchanges or credit notes on eligible purchases if actioned within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items returned outside the 14 day return timeframe are eligible for store credit ONLY at our discretion.
  • We can not accept returns or exchanges on earrings due to hygiene reasons.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on FINAL SALE items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
